Dr. Storrie is a registered Psychologist in the province of Ontario, with specializations in the practice of clinical psychology, clinical neuropsychology, and rehabilitation psychology. She received her Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Brock University, and Masters degree and Doctorate in Biopsychology at the University of Waterloo. Her residency in Clinical Neuropsychology was completed at Hamilton Health Sciences/McMaster University.

Dr. Storrie is a founding partner of Storrie, Velikonja and Associates, a full-service psychological practice in Burlington, and four multidisciplinary specialty clinics. The provision of assessment and treatment services to first responders is the focus of her private practice. She served as Halton Regional Police Service’s Consultant Psychologist, and was involved in the development and launch of their Organizational Wellness Unit. Dr. Storrie also provides consultation services to a number of police, fire, and EMS services. She has developed and provided training programs for psychologists interested in working with first responders for the Ontario Psychological Association (OPA), and regularly mentors a number of them.

Dr. Storrie is a former two-term President of the Ontario Psychological Association, the Canadian Academy of Psychologists in Disability Assessment (CAPDA), and the Hamilton Medical-Legal Society. She has been awarded Diplomate Emeritus status with the American Board of Disability Analysts (ABDA). In June, Dr. Storrie retired after 25 years as an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences at McMaster University.
