"Dr. Diana Brecher is a clinical psychologist who has been working with Toronto Metropolitan University’s Counselling Centre for over 30 years. As adjunct faculty in the Psychology Department, she has taught graduate-level courses in CBT and Clinical Supervision to graduate students and mental health professionals. In addition, Diana was Chair of the Ontario Psychology Association Taskforce, developing The self-assessment tool for best practices for clinical supervision. Diana also received the Dr. Harvey Brooker Award for Excellence in Clinical Teaching in 2014.
Resilience and post-traumatic growth have been the focus of her work over the past six years. She has applied her five-factor model of resilience in multiple educational contexts, including clinical supervision."
