Abby Hershler (she/her) is a staff psychiatrist in the Trauma Therapy Program at Women’s College Hospital. As an assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto, she enjoys supervising residents and medical students with an in interest in working with and caring for marginalized and underserviced populations, as well as those developing foundational skills in trauma therapy. She has provided mental health support to the residents of Native Men’s Residence (Nameres) shelter through Inner City Health Associates since 2009. She has a particular interest in interpersonal and trauma focused individual and group therapy, as well as the role of creativity and art in healing.
